JAY, Go jump! :D
(just had to say that).
If you can, ask a friend (or more) to take a picture as you take off. Then, make it a silhouette, and get printed T-shirts with it.
Two more things: try not to think too much before jumping, look at the horizon line and step forward :D
And tell us how it went :)
We prepared with cameras, also for video recording...
I was excited, days before, eager to go up there and jump...
On every jump I was watching last days... it thrilled me...
Back to this evening: I was staying in line for almost two hours; some guys behind me in line were talking about being afraid... I was not afraid at that moment.
The guys there got me ready, unbarked me on the elevator: going up - the view was PERFECT even in the darkness... the city was shining bright, beautiful view...
Arriving on top; the guy from the elevator was telling me: ok, you may jump now: JUMP! at that moment I got stacked! I was going: breath in... breath out... relax... that he was going: 1.... 2.... 3... JUMP!... and I was going: relax... breath in, breath out... then I was going: ok... now I'll count to 3 and jump: 1... 2... 3..., still no jump :)
This was going for a few minutes... the guy was telling me there were 5 of them... when he decided to go back on the ground. I was there begging him: "come on, one more minute, I'll do it just don't rush on me...I WANT TO DO IT!" He was firm, we were going down :( I was a little disappointed... I still am...
Later in the evening, as we were walking the area, one guy stopped me and said to me "It's a pity you haven't jumped!" "I know! :(… still want to!"
Utnapistim, I was not able to stay with your advice "try not to think too much before jumping" :)
Some other time...
